Before the Bloom

The part before anything becomes visible.
Before the shift is recognized.
Before the bloom.

It’s easy to notice growth when it arrives in full color—
when something opens, expands, becomes clear.

But there is a quieter phase that comes first.

One that asks for patience.
For stillness.
For trust.

This is where I find myself.

Not at the beginning, not quite in full bloom…

but somewhere in between.

Things are changing.
I can feel it.

In the way I’m thinking.
In the way I’m moving.
In the way certain things no longer sit the same within me.

But it’s subtle.

Not something I can fully explain.
Not something I can point to and say – there, that’s it.

And for a moment,
that used to make me question everything.

Am I doing enough?
Should I be further along?
Is something supposed to be happening by now?

But I’m learning to see this space differently.

This isn’t the absence of growth.
This is where growth begins.

Beneath the surface, something is taking shape.

Quietly. Steadily.
In ways that don’t ask to be seen just yet.

So I stay here.

Not rushing to force what isn’t ready.
Not digging things up to check if they’re growing.
Not measuring progress by what I can show.

Just trusting that something is unfolding.

Even if I can’t fully see it yet. There is a kind of peace in that.

In allowing things to form without interruption.
In letting the process be enough, even when the outcome is still unknown.

Maybe this part of the journey was never meant to be visible.

Maybe it was meant to be felt.

And maybe… this is what it means to be before the bloom.

What is quietly taking shape within you… that doesn’t need to be seen yet?
