Not everything comes with me.
Over time, I’ve learned that beginning again doesn’t mean starting from nothing.
It means choosing—gently and honestly—what deserves to stay.
Some things I carry forward because they’ve proven themselves.
Others because they still feel alive in my hands.
I’m carrying forward the practice of listening before reacting.
The understanding that rest is not something to earn.
The quiet confidence that comes from knowing I don’t need to explain my pace.
I’m carrying forward moments of clarity that arrived without force.
Conversations that softened me.
Routines that grounded me when everything else felt uncertain.
I’m leaving behind the urgency to be seen.
The need to tidy my thoughts before they’re ready.
The belief that growth has to look impressive to be real.
What stays now feels simpler.
More honest.
More aligned with the way I want to live—not just what I want to create.
This isn’t a list I’ve finalized.
It shifts as I do.
But for now, these are the things I’m holding close.
The ones that feel like home.
I trust myself to notice what wants to remain.
